Pisang Peak climbing is most popular trekking peak in Nepal, located at Annapurna region with the height of 6092 meters from the sea level. Pisang Peak is located in-between Annapurna and Manaslu, which are above 8000 meters. It is a easy peak climbing which rises above from Pisang village and yak pastures in a uniform slope of  ice and snow to the Summit. We should follow the Annapurna Circuit trekking to climb the Pisang Peak so also known as Annapurna region peak climbing. Pisang Peak climbing route starts from Katnmandu to Annapurna then heading up to Pisang valley then high up to Pisang peak base camp.

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu and Transfer to the hotel

  • Upon the arrival at Tribhuban International Airport, a representative from Great Vision Trek & Expedition will receive you and transfer to the hotel have booked
  •      We will go to Great Vision Trek & Expedition if you arrive earlier in a day, if not we will make settlement of due amount and introduce guide.

Day 2: City Tour and Preparation for trek  

Today, we tour to heritage sites at Kathmandu. We start a guide tour from your hotel to four heritage site in Kathmandu which is listed in UNESCO World Heritage Sites. First we visit to Pashupatinath Temple situated in Gausala and banks of Bagmati River where Aryaghat, famous funeral site for Hindus lies. After sightseeing, we visit to Boudhanatha, the Buddhists shrine which is one of the largest stupa in the world. Boudhhanath is one of the holiest Buddhist pilgrimages that include over 50 Tibetan Gompas or monasteries and popular tourist destination. Tour leads to Kathmandu Durbar Square also known as Basantapur holds the medieval king’s palaces who had ruled over Kathmandu Kingdom once. Our last tour will be Swayambhu (the self-existent) which is one of the famous touristic areas where we find large number of monkey population. After sightseeing, we go back to you hotel and you can take rest and prepare for trekking.

Day 3: Drive from kathamandu to Bhulbhule

Next morning, after you have a delicious breakfast, we drive from Kathmandu to Bhulbhule by bus.

Day 4: Trek from Bhulbhule to Jagat

After we reach Bhulbhule, we take rest and begin our trek to Jagat. We walk through down the Trishuli river experiencing green hills, Farming terraces, mountains, etc. Walking for about 8 to 9 hours takes us to Jagat where we stay overnight and have dinner.

Day 5: Trek from Jagat to Dharapani (1860m)

After breakfast, the trail climbs up through the rocky forest leading to Tibetan tiny Village Chamje. Walking for 5 to 6 hours through wheat, potato and barley fields, pine forest, the trail takes us to Dharapani, big Tibetan village where we stay overnight.

Day 6: Trek from Dharapani to Chame (2670m) 5-6 hours

Destination set for today is Chame (2670m). After breakfast, our trail continues to Chame which takes 5 to 6 hours o walk from Dharapani. We stay overnight at Dharapani.

Day 7: Trek from Chame to Pisang Village (3200m) 6-7 hours

Destination set for today is Pisang Village (3200m). After breakfast, we leave Chame behind and walk towards one of the beautiful village of Pisang that takes about 6 to 7 hours walk. We stay overnight in the village experiencing local lifestyle and culture.

Day 08: Trek from Pisang Village to Pisang Peak High Camp

Destination set for today is Pisang Peak High Camp which is the important day of whole trip. After breakfast, leaving Pisang village behind we head towards Pisang Peak High Camp where we can view beautiful snow capped peaks. We stay overnight in a tented camp.

Day 09: Trek from Pisang Peak Base Camp to Pisang Peak High camp

After breakfast, we walk up hills following the trail to Pisang Peak High Camp. We can experience beautiful high mountain peaks, hills and below beautiful villages. We stay overnight.

Day 10: Summit Pisang Peak (6091m) and back to Pisang Peak Base Camp

After breakfast, we head towards Summit Pisang Peak (6091m) which will be the best day in this whole trip. After capturing and enjoying the beauty we head back to Pisanf Pak Base Camp. We stay overnight at a tented camp.

Day 11: Trek from Pisang Base Camp to Manang (3540m)

Destination set for today is Manang. After breakfast, we leave the mountain behind and head towards Manang (3540m). We stay overnight here.

Day 12: Trek from Manang to Yak Kharka (4110m)

From Manang village, the path crosses a stream, climbs to a village of Tenki higher than Manang, and so continues to climb out of the Marshyangdi valley turning northwest ups the valley of Jarsang Khola. The path follows this valley northward, passing many pastures, a scrub of juniper trees, because it steadily gains elevation. The path more passes close to the little village of Ghunsa, a cluster of flat mud roofs just under the rootage. Now the path goes through meadows where horses and yaks graze. After crossing atiny low stream on a wooden bridge, the path passes associate ancient previous Mani wall in nice grassland and so reaches another tiny village of Yak Kharka. Overnight at Yak Kharka.

Day 13: Trek from Yak Kharka to Thorong Phedi (4600m)

Our destination for today is Throng Phedi, tiny busy settlement for the tired trekkers and climbers. Trekkers like us use this point as a base camp. Some guests additionally try a hike to the High Camp today so the next day will be easier for them. But, himalayan Glacier's team leader doesn't advise this. Though we are going to have a troublesome day tomorrow, we stop at Thorong Phedi so we are able to have sound sleep in lower altitude instead of risking sleeping in an exceedingly higher altitude at High Camp. We stay overnight at Phedi.

Day 14: Trek from Thorong Phedi (4600m) to Muktinath (3760m) via Thorong-La Pass (5416m)

Crossing the arduous Thorong La Pass at a dizzying height of 5,416m/17,764ft is another highlight of this trek. an early begin is very important to travel through the icy high-altitude path. However the picturesque mountain vistas are over compensates the strenuous practice the toilsome path. We reach Muktinath by sunset that is a vital journey site for each Hindus and Buddhist. We can stroll round the area that hosts a vishnu temple and a monastery near.

Day 15: Trek from Muktinath to Jomsom (2720m)

We descend down to the Kali Gandaki Gorge and pass Jharkot and Khingar villages, a typical Tibetan architecture and head towards Jomsom. We stay overnigh here.

Day 16: Drive to Tatopani (1190m)

After breakfast, we drive to Tatopani (1190m). We stay overnight here.

Day 17: Drive to Beni and continue to Pokhara (820m)

After breakfast, we leave Tatopani and take a drive to Beni, explore for a while in Beni then continue our drive to Pokhara (820m). We stay overnight here.

Day 18: Explore Pokhara

Today we will rest and explore around Pokhara. Visit beautiful Phewa Lake, do boating, roam around the city area. We stay overnight in a hotel near phewa lake.

Day 19: Drive to Kathmandu

After breakfast, we take a local bus and head towards Kathmandu which is about 5 to 6 hours drive. After we reach Kathmandu, you are taken to the Hotel where you will have delicious traditional dinner and rest.

Day 20: Final Departure

This is your last day in Kathmandu so you can enjoy your meal, go shopping before flight. Our representative with driver will take you to the airport for departure.
