Mt Kailash is situated at Nepal’s far western corner of Tibetan Plateau. One of the popular tourist destination, Mt Kailash Tour’s other main attraction is Lake Manasarovar lying on the same Tibetan Plateau.  Mt Kailash standing tall at the height of 6741m is a black mountain with snow capped top and four sheer walls. Mt Kailash is a holy destination for hindus, for them it is the abode of Lord Shiva. This holy mountain covers 53 km of the land which takes 3 days to explore the entire circumference. Mt Kailash from Kathmandu takes around four days across the vast Tibetan Plateau while for long trekking trail; one can drive from Simikot in western Nepal which takes a whole week to reach Mount Kailash. After we reach the destination, we will be amazed by extremely beautiful turquoise lake while spectacular Mountain View of kailash and floating swan in the lake adds extra beauty to the sceneries.

Both Mt Kailash and Manasarovar hold importance and significance for Hindus and Budhhists. Lake Manasarovar is the originates of four other great Asian rivers: Karnali, the Sutlej, the Indus and Bramhaputra.  It is the best trekking destination for those who loves nature as one can encounter various unusual species of animals, birds, other wildlife and flora. Day1: Arrival Day (1300m)

When you land Kathmandu in Tribhuvan Internation aiport, you will be welcomed by a representative from Great Vision Trek. First we complete your Visa and other custom formalities; you will be transferred to the hotel organized by Great Vision along with your luggage. You then check in and take rest. After that visit our office and make the settlement of due/rest of amount the hanging around. You stay overnight at Kathmandu.

Day 2: Sightseeing and Trek Preparation

Today, we tour to heritage sites at Kathmandu. We start a guide tour from your hotel to four heritage site in Kathmandu which is listed in UNESCO World Heritage Sites. First we visit to Pashupatinath Temple situated in Gausala and banks of Bagmati River where Aryaghat, famous funeral site for Hindus lies. After sightseeing, we visit to Boudhanatha, the Buddhists shrine which is one of the largest stupa in the world. Boudhhanath is one of the holiest Buddhist pilgrimages that include over 50 Tibetan Gompas or monasteries and popular tourist destination. Tour leads to Kathmandu Durbar Square also known as Basantapur holds the medieval king’s palaces who had ruled over Kathmandu Kingdom once. Our last tour will be Swayambhu (the self-existent) which is one of the famous touristic areas where we find large number of monkey population. After sightseeing, we go back to you hotel and you can take rest and prepare for trekking.

Day 3: Kathmandu to Nyalam (3750m)

After breakfast, we depart to China Border which takes about 5 hours drive then; our guide will complete all the formalities then continue the drive Nyalam, Tibetan town. We stay overnight at the Hotel.

Day 4: Nyalam Full day acclimatization

Today we take rest and explore the Nyalam area.

Day 5: Nyalam to Dongba/ Paryang (4500m): 375kms

Destination set for today is Donga. After breakfast, we head towards Dongba/Paryang (4500m) from Nyalam. After arrival, we stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 6: Dongba/Paryang (4500m): 335kms to Mansarovar

Destination set for today is Mansarovar. After breakfast, we head towards Marsarovar from Dongba/Paryang. After arrival, we stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 7: Mansarovar to Darchen (4600m): 110km

Destination set for today is Darchen. After breakfast, we head towards Darchen (4600m) from Mansorovar. After arrival, we stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 8: Darchen to Diraphuk (4890m): 12km

Destination set for today is Diraphuk. After breakfast, we head towards Diraphuk (4890m) from Darchen. After arrival, we stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 9: Diraphuk to Zhulthulphuk (4790m): 22km

Destination set for today is Zhulthulphuk. After breakfast, we head towards Zhulthulphuk (4790m) from Diraphuk. After arrival, we stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 10: Zhulthulphuk to Mansarovar

Destination set for today is Mansarovar. After breakfast, we head towards Mansarovar from Zhulthulphuk. After arrival, we stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 11: Mansarovar to Dongba/Saga

Destination set for today is Dongba/Saga. After breakfast, we head towards Donggba/Saga (4500m) from Mansarovar. After arrival, we stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 12: Dongba/Saga to Nyalam

Destination set for today is Nyalam. After breakfast, we head back towards Nyalam from Dongba/Saga. After arrival, we stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 13: Flight from Nyalam to Kathmandu

Next morning, we wake up early and head towards airport where we have a flight to Kathmandu. After arrival, you will be sent to the hotel where you will have a delicious traditional dinner.

Day 14: Final Departure

After breakfast, we head towards the Paro airport and depart to Kathmandu. After arrival, we get back to the Hotel and rest.
