Annapurna regin trek is one of the most demanding trek likewise Annapurna circuit trek. Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to the hotel
When you land Kathmandu in Tribhuvan Internation aiport, you will be welcomed by a representative from Great Vision Trek. First we complete your Visa and other custom formalities; you will be transferred to the hotel organized by Great Vision along with your luggage. You then check in and take rest or you can visit our office and hang around as per your interest. You stay overnight at Kathmandu.
Day 02: Kathmandu city tour and trek preparation
Today, we tour to heritage sites at Kathmandu. We start a guide tour from your hotel to four heritage site in Kathmandu which is listed in UNESCO World Heritage Sites. First we visit to Pashupatinath Temple situated in Gausala and banks of Bagmati River where Aryaghat, famous funeral site for Hindus lies. After sightseeing, we visit to Boudhanatha, the Buddhists shrine which is one of the largest stupa in the world. Boudhhanath is one of the holiest Buddhist pilgrimages that include over 50 Tibetan Gompas or monasteries and popular tourist destination. Tour leads to Kathmandu Durbar Square also known as Basantapur holds the medieval king’s palaces who had ruled over Kathmandu Kingdom once. Our last tour will be Swayambhu (the self-existent) which is one of the famous touristic areas where we find large number of monkey population. After sightseeing, we go back to you hotel and you can take rest and prepare for trekking.
Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Syange (1100m) 8 - 10 hours
After breakfast, we take a drive from Kathmandu to Syange (1100m) which take 8 to 10 hours of drive experiencing beautiful hills and rivers. Overnight at Syange.
Day 04: Trek from Syange to Dharapani (1,960m) 7 - 8 hours
Destination set for today is Dharapani (1,960m). After breakfast, we head towards the large bridge near tal and pass across field of barley, potato and rice. Walking for 7 to 8 hours from Dharapani take you to Syange. We stay overnight here.
Day 05: Trek from Dharapani to Chame (2,710m) 5 - 6 hours
From Dharapani we head to Chame which is the headwuarters of Manang. Manang district lies beyond the Himalayas and is the popular destination in Nepal. We will be staying in the lap of Annapurna in the mountain town which will definitely amaze one.
Day 06: Trek from Chame to Pisang (3,300m) 5 - 6 hours
Next day we will be hiking from Chame to Pisang (3,300m). It takes about 5 to 6 hours of walk from Chame to Pisang. We stay overnight here in Hotel.
Day 07: Trek from Pisang to Manang (3,500m) 6 - 7 hours
It takes about 5 hours to reach mountain village of Manang from Pisang. This village follows Tibetan Buddhist culture. During the walk we can view the outstanding and famous Annapurna range. We will experience mountain atmosphere here.
Day 08: Trek from Manang: Acclimatization day
Today, we take a rest and acclimatize to the altitude. We will visit villages, Gangapurna glacier, Gangapurna Lake and mountains. We will experience high altitude here. After exploring the area, we get back to the Hotel and rest.
Day 09: Trek from Manang to Siri Kharka (4060m) 4-5 hours
Next day, we head to Siri Kharka (4060m) after breakfast. During the trail, we come across the mountain giants where we enjoy beautiful mountain views with amazing atmosphere. We stay overnight here.
Day 10: Trek from Siri Kharka to Tilicho Base Camp (4140m) 5-6 hours
Destination set for today is Tilicho Base Camp (4140m). After breakfast, we walk through steep and narrow paths in landslide area and after 5 to 6 hours of walk, we reach at Tilicho Base Camp (4140m). We stay overnight in a camped tent.
Day 11: Explore Tilicho Lake (4,949m) then back to Siri Kharka 5-6 hours
Today we will explore the area around Tilicho lake. We walk through the side of mountain in a steep incline before we reach at watershed. During the trail, we explore deer and yaks grazing then reach Tilicho Lake one of the Hindu sacred lake. After exploring the Lake, we head back to Siri Kharka which is 5 to 6 hours walk and stay overnight.
Day 12: Trek from Siri kharka to Yak kharka (4040m) 4-5 hours
Leaving Siri Kharka behind, we descend to Yak Kharka (4040m) through Khangsar village exploring old monastery. Waking for 4 to 5 hours of walk will lead us to Yak Kharka. We stay overnight here.
Day 13: Trek from Yak kharka to Thorang Phedi: (4420m) 3-4 hours
After breakfast, we Leave Yak Kharka behind and walk for 3 to 4 hours till we reach Thorang Phedi (4420m) where we experience the Phedi peak. We stay overnight here.
Day 14: Trek from Thorong Phedi to Thorong La pass (5416m) to Muktinath (3,800m) 7 - 8 hours
Today is an amazing trail we head towards Thorung pass, the highest pass which takes about 4 hours of hill climb. At the top, the sceneries look amazing and make one feel like standing out of the world. After experiencing the beauty, we descent towards Muktinath for another 7 to 8 hours.
Day 15: Drive from Muktinath to Tatopani (1,200m) 6 - 8 hours
After exploring one of the holy places, Muktinath we drive back to Tatopani (1200m) which is 6 to 8 hours drive.
Day 16: Trek from Tatopani to Ghorepani (2,850m) 7 - 8 hours
This tail leads us to the farmlands and small villages of lower mountain regions experiencing mountain views. After we reach Ghorepani (2850m), we head to Hotel and take rest today.
Day 17: Trek from Ghorepani to Poon Hill to Tadapani (2,700m) 6 - 7 hours We wake up early this day so that we can view the first sun ray striking the mountains in Gorapani. We climb down hill to Poon Hill (3193m). After the short trek, our trail resumes and we head to the east where we pass across Deurali.
Day 18: Trek to Nayapul then drive to Pokhara: 5-6 hours trek and 1 hour drive
Destination set for today is Pokhara. After breakfast, we head towards Nayapul which is 5 to 6 hours of walk from Poon Hill. Then we take a drive to Pokhara which is 1 hour drive. We stay at a Hotel nearby Phewa Lake.
Day 19: Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu 5-6 hours
In the morning which is the day to departure, we have our breakfast in the hotel and drive back to Kathmandu which takes about 6 to 7 hours. After we arrive to Kathmandu, you will be taken to the hotel where you can relax and stay overnight.
Day 20: Final departure
This is the day of your departure so you can have shopping and celebrate your successful trekking journey. Our representative with driver will take you to airport on time.
