Amadablam Expedition in Nepal offers magnificient and technical climbing experience to the Himalayas.Mount Ama Dablam height starts from 6182m and it is one of the world's most spectacular and impressive peak proudly standing at the heart of the Khumbu in Nepal. With no doubt, Ama Dablam is other than different and adventurous mountain with sharply pointed soaring shape which makes it unique. Ascending this sheer peak is the most ultimate dream of most of the climbers of whole world. This expedition allows one to conquer the mountain and stand on its incredible summit surrounded by its close panoramic views of beautiful peaks such as highest mountain peak Mt. Everest, Cho Oyu, Makalu, Lhotse and many other himalayan peaks. Amadablam peak is one of the most technically demanding expedition as it provides every supreme challenge imaginable (rock, ice, scramble, great approaches, breathtaking views and a wonderful base camp situated in a meadow with a stream). During the expedition, climbers should have really good knowledge of rock climbing and ice climbing and also have to be technically competent to complete Ama dablam expedition. On most parts of the climbing routes, there will be fixed ropes, however, all climbers should have a good knowledge and practice of the skills of climbing on steep rock and hard compact ice. We follow the standard South West ridge route to the summit as it is considered the safest route, free from most dangers such as avalanches. During the expedition to the challenging Amadablam climbing , we will make sure to make every single effort to keep you completely safe and happy.
Tea-houses during the trek and camps (tents) during the climb. Most teahouse accommodation will only have shared toilet facilities. For tent accommodation, a 4-season sleeping bag and foam mattress will be provided. In climbing section, toilet facilities will be provided with necessary natural preservation. All accommodations are on twin-shared basis. However, single room will be provided on request and by paying a single supplement of USD 390.
Ama Dablam base camp altitude is categorized as 5D in the difficulty level. This means that the technical difficulty will include very steep ice and/or rock climbing. The climbers need to feel confident and comfortable ascending or descending on fixed ropes along the steep technical terrain. Moreover, we recommend climbers to have prior experience on rock and ice climbing especially above 6,000 m. A high standard of physical and mental fitness is also necessary for the climb. As the climbing experience will be strenuous, it is important for climbers to be physically fit with previous climbing experience.
