Nepal is also popular as the ultimate safaris destination. There are other five protected areas in Nepal - Parsa and Koshi Tappu in the east, Dhorpatan and Sukla Phanta for hunting in the west and Shivapuri in the Mid-mountain region. Langtang, Sagarmatha (Everest), Shey-Phoksundo and Rara National Parks are also worth mentioning protected high altitude parks of Nepal.
